Simple yet significant.  These words summed up the dedication service of ACTS College, now located at her new premises at Units 07-05 & 06, 110 Geylang Lorong 23.  On 4th January 2016, Rev Robert Lum, Assistant General Superintendent of The Assemblies of God Singapore, Rev Alvin Ngo, Chairman of ACTS Board of Directors, and Rev Dr Emily Tan, Interim President of ACTS College, officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the presence of esteemed guests, alumni and students.
Rev Dr Emily Tan shared in her speech about the decision to move and the faithfulness of God in His provision for the relocation.  Tokens of appreciation were then presented by Rev Alfred Yeo to the faculty and staff for their invaluable service to the college.  In the latter part of the evening, the celebration included the installation and prayers for student leaders.
Groups took turns to go on a tour of the College’s facilities whilst others enjoyed the dinner fellowship. Besides the classrooms and the library, which smelled wonderfully new and clean, the tour included a trip to the rooftop which boasts of a swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, a gym and a function room.  The view of the Sports Hub and Singapore Flyer, coupled with the refreshing evening breeze, was a delightful culmination of the event.
A new year in a new place.  A fitting match to the College’s theme for 2016, “New Way, New Journey”.   Now, let us begin this journey as God leads the way!
